Skip SoRelle has worked on numerous film, recording and television projects in the role of sound designer, composer and mixer. Trained originally as a guitarist and composer, SoRelle embraced digital technology in the mid-eighties with the emergence and development of the Synclavier Digital Music System. Mastery of this instrument led eventually to work on feature films and television. Non-traditional methods of working and continual searching for new tools and sounds have been a continuing quest for SoRelle. His background as a composer informs his approach to sound design in which he has adopted a philosophy of sound that can best be described as musical or orchestral in nature.
